Charles Ray Wall Sr., born on March 6, 1953, in Lockney, Texas, passed away on November 29, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and love for his family. He was the eldest child of Robert and Rosie Wall, and from a young age he carried the responsibility and pride that often accompanies being the firstborn. Charles grew up alongside his siblings— Judy, Patricia, Gloria, Jackie, Martha, Robert Jr., Tyrone, and Jimmy —forming bonds rooted in love.

Throughout his life, Charles was a man dedicated to providing for those he loved. He spent most of his years in Floydada, Texas, working on a farm, where he built a reputation for his strong work ethic, reliability, and quiet determination—qualities that shaped both his livelihood and his character.

Charles first married Joyce Wall, and together they welcomed two children: his eldest daughter, Lavern Wall, and his only son, Charles Ray Wall Jr. Later, he met Lorene Burleson, with whom he shared two more daughters, Bridgette Burleson and Yolanda Burleson. His children were a source of pride, joy, and purpose throughout his life. Including his 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.

Those who knew Charles will remember him for his Loud presence, his willingness to help others, and the genuine love he carried into every relationship. His family, friends, and the community that surrounded him mourn his passing and celebrate the life of a strong man who lived for the moment.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rosie Wall, and his beloved eldest daughter, Lavern Wall. A niece, great-niece and a nephew.

Those who knew Charles will remember him for his quiet strength, generosity, and the warmest smile. His passing leaves a profound void, but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, special friend Donna , and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
