Carlton Sims, Sr. 70, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. James Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. 70, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023. He attended and graduated from Matador High School.He worked for Eagle Picher for 38 years. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife, Carolyn Sims; his daughter, Catherine (Joe); daughter-in-law, Nickie Sims; his son, Clinton Sims (Donisha); sisters, Jessie Brown, Erma McCuen, Jewell Thompson (James), Glouris Long (Robert), Paulette McGavisk, and Vivian Campbell ( Charlie); brothers, Jessie Sims, Jr., Forest Sims (Lori), and Clayton Sims (Deborah); 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends,
