Brodrick DeShone Stevenson, 49, departed from us on Friday, March 15, 2024. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Griffin Mortuary from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Brodrick DeShone Stevenson, “Shone,” was born on February 28, 1975, to Janice Hines and Alex Gaines. He was a loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.

Shone had an infectious sense of humor and he was an avid sports fan. He could be found on gameday sporting signature Dallas Cowboy jerseys or blue, gray, and white in support of his favorite team.
Shone spirit will continue to live in our hearts, and his love will continue to shine and guide through us.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leo, and Helen Thomas. His paternal grandparent, Gene Gaines.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Zackary Haney, Brodrick Stevenson Jr., Breneshia Stevenson; Ka’Ciyah Phillips; his parents Robert and Janice Hines and Alex Gaines; brother, Deon (Kim) of Dallas, TX; three sisters, Monique of Dallas, Shameka, and Shantavia (Tyson) of Lubbock, TX; Lydia Davis, and Lacretia Burrell; special aunts, a host of, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
