Brady Baldwin, II

Brady Baldwin II, transitioned to eternal rest on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 5:51pm at his home at the age of 73.  Born Dec 6, 1949 son of, Brady Baldwin I, and the late Willie Lee (Johnson) Holt.  Brady was a lifelong resident and community member of Lubbock County, Texas,  until his passing.

Brady proudly served in the US Army and was honorably discharged as a Vietnam War veteran.  Brady continued to serve the Lubbock community as a bus driver with the Lubbock Citi Bus system until his retirement.

Family and friends remember Brady to enjoy a good movie, marvel deeply in music, and love the game of pool.  Beyond his hobbies, Brady was extremely passionate and committed to his family and served as a loving member to all.

Brady was preceded in death by his daughter Brandy. He is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Sadie Baldwin (Hoover)  and children Brad, Tasha, Brady III "Trey", and Zekirah.  Brady was the loving grandfather to a host of grandchildren to carry on his legacy.  Brady will be fondly remembered by his surviving siblings, in-laws, many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Family members are invited to the viewing Monday, March 13, 2023 from 2-4 at Griffin Mortuary Funeral Home & Chapel 1715 E Broadway, Lubbock, Texas.  Open viewing for non-family members and friends will be held from 4-6 PM. 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 14, 2023 at precisely 11:00 am at Lyons Chapel Baptist Church 1704 E 24th St, Lubbock, Texas 79404.  and the Graveside Service immediately following at Lubbock Cemetery 2011 E 31st St, Lubbock, Texas 79457-0001.
