Bobbie Lucille Isaac-Nealy, 75, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026. Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, May 8, 2026 at 2 pm at First Progressive Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Viewing will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary.
Bobbie Lucille Isaac was born on December 4, 1950, in Lubbock, TX to James Isaac and Allie Mae Dial. After Allie Mae Dial fell ill, James Isaac married Imatha Washington, who warmly welcomed Bobbie Isaac and her brother Frank James Isaac into her family. Bobbie attended Iles Elementary School and Dunbar Struggs.
In 1966, Bobbie met Curtis Ray Nealy, the love of her life. Two years later she married him, becoming Bobbie Lucille Nealy. They were blessed with two handsome sons.
Bobbie retired from Texas Instruments after 27 years, then later worked at the Walker House. She was a member of St. Matthews and sang in the choir. In her free time Bobbie enjoyed shopping at Goodwill Stores and traveling. She would call her niece, Tina Martin, and suggest visiting Fort Worth, TX to see her niece Sandra K. Martin and go shopping and dining out. Her favorite meal consisted of two whole catfish and coca-cola classic.
We knew of three things that Bobbie was very particular about; her dog Lucy, whom she loved deeply, her dressing up in her leopard print outfit and flaunting her jewelry, especially her rings.
Bobbie Lucille Isaac-Nealy is preceded in death by her father James Isaac, her mothers Allie Mae Dial and Imatha Washington, her husband Curtis Ray Nealy, her brothers Henry Martin, Edward Gene Martin “Flea,” James Howard Martin, and Henry Earl Martin, her sisters Celestin “Polly” Rboinson, Willie Sten (Genice), and Janice Marie Isaac.
Bobbie Lucille Isaac-Nealy leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Curtis Nealy (April) and Isaac Nealy (Jocelyn), her brothers Frank James Isaac (Judy), and Larry D. Isaac (Retta), her sisters Annie Helen White and Deloris Petties, her grandchildren Tasha Nealy, Kevin, Zadrianna Guerrero-Nealy, Catarine Nealy (Roger), Oliva Brennon (Abagail), Daejha Nealy (TyWon), Laila Nealy (Lee), and Elijah, Kash, and Ihikia, her 13 great grandchildren, special niece Jermeka Isaac, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
