Arthur Lee McCullough

Arthur Lee McCullough, 69,  passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Matthew Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Viewing will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. Arthur was born to McKinnely and Mary McCullough on April 6, 1954. Arthur loved to cook and loved to BBQ a lot. He retired from All Seasons Lawn Care. He took care of his mother and oldest sister before they passed on. Arthur loved his kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Arthur also loved working in the yard and planting flowers. He was a hardworking person. Don’t cry for me because I am at peace with the Lord. Arthur says goodbye to his best friend, Larry Joe Mitchell, also special friend, Sharron Faulks. He is preceded in death by his parents, McKinnely and Mary McCullough; son, Arthur, Jr.; brother, Walter McCullough; two sisters, Lorine McCullough and Rose Ross. He is survived by his wife, Donna McCullough; special friend, Sharron Faulks; three daughters, Pearline, Sabrina, and Ciji; sons, Adrain, Sha-Arthur (Debbie), Jamar, Roderick and J.B.; brothers, Larry, and McKinnely, Jr.; grandchildren, Marquise (Breanna), Marcus, DeMonica (Mark), Sha’Netra, Victoria Whitney, Anna, Jamar, Jr., De’Angelo, Zikel, Jamar, and Amiri; 12 great grandchildren; nieces, Monica Wilson, Dachell Hastings, Lavoros Hastings (Nate), K. Williams, Semeko McCullough; nephews, AJ. McCullough, K. Williams, K. Williams, Kennella Williams, Quincy McCullough, and Kinnely, III; a number of relatives and friends.
