Arline Wilson, 60, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 11 am at Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Arline, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, has lived a life filled with warmth, devotion, and quiet strength. Born on October 26, 1965, in Lubbock, Texas, she grew up in a nurturing home with her parents, HL Ragsdale and Annie Ruth Ragsdale. Arline dedicated her life to Christ at an early age. Their loving guidance shaped her into the remarkable woman she is today. Arline was preceded in death by her mother and father.

Arline graduated from Estacado High School in 1984, embarking on a journey of compassion and care. She found her calling in the healthcare field, working for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her dedication to helping others continued as she served at the Austin State School, where her kindness touched countless lives. Later, she became a driver for Med Lift, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to

aiding those in need. A devoted member of Peaceful St. James for many years, Arline's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her warmth and welcoming spirit made her a cherished presence within the community.

Arline's greatest joy came from her family. She is the loving mother of Kenneth Jr (Sumiya), Katiga, and Yolanda Wilson, who, along with her four grandchildren, were the lights of her life. Her home was often filled with laughter and love, especially during family gatherings where Arline's passion for cooking shone brightly. She delighted in sharing meals and moments, creating lasting memories with those she held dear. Her

enthusiasm for the television show "Big Brother" was infectious, sparking animated discussions with her children. Arline's gentle strength and caring nature will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness, and unwavering support for her family and friends. "You will forever be in our hearts."

Arline leaves behind her three children, Kenneth Jr., Wilson, Katiga Wilson, and Yolanda Wilson. Four grandchildren, Brendon, Mylah, Milo, Mayan. 2 brothers, Steve Lewis and William Ragsdale, 5 sisters, Linda Simpson, Margaret Moore (Robert), Brenda Young, Dorothy Wilkerson (Daryl), Erma Ragsdale. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
