Anthony Dwayne Thomas II, age 43, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 1pm at Greater St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church. Private Disposition will follow under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2026, from 4pm to 6pm at Griffin Mortuary. He was born March 14, 1983, in Lubbock to Patricia Carl and Anthon “Tony” Thomas. After graduating from Coronado High School. He held several jobs doing customer service and food prep. He was the assisted manager at 50th Street Caboose before becoming ill. He will deeply be remembered for his quick humor and unwavering love for his family. Always love lending a helping hand.
Anthony also was an old soul with his tv shows and music. He loved God, playing dominos, spades, and loved Dallas Cowboy.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Elizabeth Carl and James Evans, his paternal grandparents Jackie Hill and Patricia Thomas, his great grandparents Bertha Thomas, his aunt Jamye Hill, his uncles Nathaniel Davis and Darnel Thomas.
He is survived by his parents Patricia Carl and Anthony “Tony” Thomas, his sister Shameka Butler (Leditt), his nieces Heavenly Butler and Khristian Butler, his great nephew Honor Taylor, granddad Berdine Thomas, his aunts Ruby Davis, Carol Thomas, Bridgett Chambers, and Lisa White, his uncles Dennis Davis and Marvin Davis, his godmother Shirley Richardson, and a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
