Annie Katherine "Kathy" Jones

Annie Katherin Jones, 54, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2026 at 1 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Private Disposition under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Annie Katherine Jones, affectionately known to family and friends as "Kathy," was born on January 22, 1972, in Houston, Texas, to her loving mother, GyeAnn Cutright.

Kathy attended Arlington Heights High School and Wyatt High School in Fort Worth, Texas.

Kathy was a loving and caring woman who truly enjoyed being surrounded by others. She loved her family, her friends, and fellowshipping with everyone she met. Her warm spirit and love for allowed her to form many special relationships throughout her life. The memories, laughter, and love she shared will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Kathy is preceded in death by her mother, GyeAnn Cutright, who passed away in 2017; her daughter, Chloe Jones; her brother, Donnie Rodgers; her grandmother, Hattie Mae Jones; and a host of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory her only child and beloved son, Dekay Jones ot Lubbock, Texas; her sister, Carrie Rochon (Rayford Lynn) of Fort Worth, Texas; her sister, Rodgers (Marcus) of Fort Worth, Texas; her brother, Charles Flowers of Lubbock, Texas; and a host or nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Although Kathy's earthly journey has ended, the love she gave, the friendships she treasured, and the memories she created will continue to live on through everyone whose life she touched.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever Kathy.
