Angela Monique Erwin, 25, entered into her eternal rest on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1 pm at St. James Baptist church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Angela Monique Erwin was born to the parents of Michael Deshan Ervin, Sr. and Marina Marquez on December 15, 1998. Angela accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized into the Faith. Angela was well loved by many who met her. 

Angela was a loving and kind daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and a true friend. Angela attended Iles Elementary , Dunbar Jr. High School and she graduated from Estacado High School in 2017. Angela also attended South Plains College for 2 years. Angela loved and was an excellent braider of hair. She was good at excellent parts and designs when braiding. Angela desired to be a nurse.

Angela was raised by her grandmother, Thelma Avery “Granny” and her bonus grandfather Eddie Avery. Angela was employed at Smartliving Healthcare Services and Wild Rose Hospice.

Angela leaves to cherish her memory, her father Michael Deshan Erwin, Sr. aka “Big Daddy” (Marqarita), her mother Marina Marquez, grandmother Thelma Avery aka “Granny”, grandfather Eddie Avery aka (Awwa), maternal grandfather Richard Washington (Terri), her 2 sons, born to Angela and Rita’je Smith, Rae’Lynn Smith and Rita’je Smith, Jr., her daughter, born to Angela and Trent Clark, Arjeree Clark, her bonus mother Marqarita Marroquin and Terri Norris, her three brothers Ernest Pacheco, Luis Estrada, and Benito Estrada, III, her sisters Natasha Garrett, Nicole Erwin, Brianna Pacheco (Noe), Pearl Sharp, Larissa Estrado, Brianna Estrado, and Vianca Erwin, the mother of Michael Erwin, Jr. 2 sons Desiree Picon, her sons Brennan Erwin and Kyrie Erwin whom Angela loved very much, 11 uncles, 9 aunts, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
