AD Hargers

AD Hargers, 75, departed this life on Thursday, September 28th, 2023. Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, October 7th, 2023, at 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Friday, October 6th, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary. AD Hargers was born to Earnest Hargers and Estella Porter on May 6th, 1948. He is preceded in death by, his father, Earnest Hargers; his mother, Estella Porter; 4 brothers L.C. Billy Hargers, Larry Hargers, Bobby Ray Hargers, and Robert Lee Hargers Sr; four sisters, Mattie Mae Griffin, Bernice Griffin, Rosetta Haynes Pleasant, and Allie Mae McNeil. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife Brenda Hargers; his daughters, Laura Minner, Sue Ann Johnson, Pamela Hargers, Angela Johnson, and Zabrina Kelley; his sons, Alvin Hargers, Terry Hargers, Michael Hargers, Tedrick Gilmore, Joseph Benson, and Rodney Benson; his sisters, Dorthy Jean Hargers, Birdia Johnson, Helen Livingston, Annie Marie Williams, and Earnestine McClendon; his brothers, Eugene Hargers and Curtis Hargers; 42 grandchildren, 20 Great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
